Message From Your Doctor

Dear Patient,

I am Dr. Miodrag Velickovic, born and raised in Nis, Serbia. I have worked at Department of Neurology at the University Hospital in Nis, Serbia, Nassau University Medical Center (Stony Brook University) in Long Island,  New York, NYU Langone Medical Center in New York City, and presently at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City and Yorktown Heights (Westchester County, New York).

I would like to welcome you to my practice and share with you my passion for medicine and helping my patients achieve wellness and health.

While watching my father practicing neurology, I have decided early on to study brain and neurological aspects of personal health and well-being.  My dedication to patient’s health is deeply imbedded into the philosophy of my own practice. My commitment is that through excellence in medical care I will aid my patients’ health so they can fulfill their dreams and aspirations. I have been really privileged to be able to be a small part of people's lives, their struggles, their victories, their human desire to be well and live their lives fully. The art of doctoring is something I've been trying to incorporate every day. I want to thank you for that opportunity. Life is more than simply avoiding sickness. It is our effort to make a mark in other people's lives, loving and protecting our family. The well-being starts with one person and spreads to our loved ones, our friends, our community. Feeling well and being well are not out of reach and we will fight for that together.
